Weber Shandwick is pleased to announce the launch of The Debate, the new online home for Weber Shandwick Public Affairs, bringing you opinion, insights and analysis, as we head towards what promises to be the closest General Election in a generation. As well as contributions from our own consultants, The Debate will feature content from experts across politics, business and communications as they share their perspectives on campaigning, policy and the latest trends. The Debate is there to make sense of the profound changes that look set to reshape Britain in the coming weeks and months, and to reflect on how these will have an impact on you and your organisation. As part of this, Weber Shandwick is delighted to be working in association with Research Now on the production of original research and analysis of the 2015 General Election. We’ll also be taking a more light-hearted look at the world of politics, keeping an eye on the rising stars and the fading lights. We will find and share the most engaging content, and consider where the parties are successfully connecting with voters, and where they are turning them off politics. Let us know what you think – what are people saying, what’s happening on the campaign trail and what can we expect come May 7th. If you have something you want to share, or if you are interested in writing a guest post, tweet us @ws_london. Please visit The Debate here.

Weber Shandwick has been named 2015 PR Agency of the Year by PRWeek in the US. The firm was also named Large PR Agency of the Year during the 2015 PRWeek Awards ceremony. In awarding the firm these honours, PRWeek highlighted Weber Shandwick’s client work, creativity and “integrated” approach.

The PRWeek Awards honour the best work, professionals, companies and agencies in the communications industry across 35 competitive categories every year. PRWeek recognised Weber Shandwick for “its ability to break barriers and its willingness to embrace change” as evidenced by the firm’s status as advertising, digital and social agency of record for several clients. Judges also said that “more than any other firm, Weber (Shandwick) walks the walk, in integrated, influential and impactful communications.”

“We appreciate the opportunity our client partners give us to deliver brave ideas and solutions to some of their most complex challenges,” said Andy Polansky, Chief Executive Officer of Weber Shandwick. “This recognition speaks to the quality of Weber Shandwick teams across practice areas and geographies, and the collaborative culture that is a hallmark of our firm.”
